Rusty Hudson

Rusty Hudson became a partner in the firm in 2003, adding family law, personal injury, and probate law to the practice, along with his own extensive criminal defense background.  Rusty is a 1987 graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, and was a member of the Arkansas Law Review.  His case note, Stifft's Jewelers v. Oliver: The Tacit Agreement Test - Arkansas Clings to a Dinosaur, was published in 1987.  Rusty is a former adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law, and he has offered his experience and knowledge in Domestic Relations law as a guest lecturer for the National Business Institute.  Although he limits his practice primarily to the areas of divorce and child custody/visitation, he also handles personal injury cases and has served as City Attorney for West Fork, Arkansas since 2003.  He lives in Fayetteville with his wife and two children.

Kent McLemore

Kent McLemore, a founding partner in the firm, represents accused citizens facing all levels of criminal charges in addition to handling criminal appeals and other post-conviction proceedings.  Kent also handles juvenile delinquency cases and administrative hearings relating to maltreatment investigations and sex offender registration issues.

Kent and his family are longtime Northwest Arkansas residents.  After graduating from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1989, Kent practiced criminal defense in the San Francisco Bay Area.  He then returned to Northwest Arkansas in 1993 to practice law and teach as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law.  Kent is a charter member of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College at Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia.  He is one of the few attorneys certified by the State of Arkansas to defend individuals facing the death penalty.  Kent has successfully represented over a dozen defendants facing capital murder charges. 

Tim Buckley

Tim Buckley concentrates his practice on criminal defense.  Tim is a Northwest Arkansas native and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked in construction before entering law school at the University of Arkansas.  He graduated in December of 1989 and was admitted to the Arkansas Bar in March 1990.  Tim spent the next seven years honing his skills at the local public defender's office, where he tried cases involving everything from shoplifting to murder.  Tim is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College, a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and a charter member of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

He was recently named the top criminal defense lawyer in Northwest Arkansas 2010 by the Arkansas Times Magazine.  Tim is one of only a handful of attorneys certified by the State of Arkansas to handle death penalty cases, and has represented over a dozen client charged with Capital Murder.

Tim lives in Fayetteville with his wife Geniece and their two children.

Charles Pearce

Charles Pearce is an associate attorney with the firm.  Charles relocated to Northwest Arkansas in 1992 from Magnolia, Arkansas.  He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, a member of state and local bar associations, and he clerked for the firm as a Rule XV Student Attorney.

Cases Charles has handled include a wide variety of civil and criminal issues such as contract disputes, property and easement questions, wills and trusts, landlord-tenant actions, felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile criminal defense, divorce and child custody, and pardon applications.  He is certified as an attorney ad litem in child custody cases where he is appointed by the courts to represent the best interests of the children involved.  While his practice areas are varied, his dedication to his clients, their goals, and the law is very focused.
